Cinder Dumps - Old Weigh Station

First, I want to apologize for the crappy quality of these pics. You can barely make out what I'm trying to present here, from all the brush. I plan to return soon, and take the time to clear out the brush, to get a better view.

This is what appears to be a weighing station, possibly to weighthe scrap materials before dumping?

Due to the amount of brush, it's hard to make out details in the picture. I can tell you, though, that it's basically a concrete foundation, with various small metal beams running across, along with wood as well. There's also what appears to be a set of small, narrow-gauge rails going across the length of it.

I suppose it's entirely possible that it was simply a foundation to a small foreman's office or something, just as it's very possible that this wasn't even part of the Earlston Furnace operation at all; It may have been part of New Enterprise Stone & Lime's operations in the area...
